360 Roller Rocker Kits

Nick, I was told that I need to replace the push rods with high performance 
ones and add push rod guides.  The guides would require me to take the heads 
back and have them grounded/reworked at the machine shop for the guides.  If 
I need to add the guides I'm going to leave it the way it was.

Joe,

They will be a bolt in item on any of the adjustable
stud style AMC heads.  Depending on the brand, some
fit AMCs better than others.  Crane makes a rocker
specifically for AMC.  Some of the cheaper brands use
a rockers for combined applications that might need a
little grinding to the underside of the rocker to
clear the keeper throughly.

Has any one out there use roller rocker arms on the
older non bridged
AMC
heads (70-71 #319-6291).  Are they just a bolt on item
or do you need
to do
anything special to the heads?
