Yes, but in reality, it hasn't. Fran's 'instant shutfown' of
amcforum.net's
Forums dropped 2500 members (or about 1000 active members and 1500
lurkers 
or former members that never un-joined)...but over 400 have already
found 
their way to the very-similar-looking amcforums.com. The aimoo site of 
Greybeards was ready sooner, but the familiarity of Brandon's site won
out
quickly (people hate change), so Greybeard reformatted the aimoo site to

become a Texas drag racing site for all makes. By attrition alone, the
other 
Straggler sites will either die off quickly or just garner a very few
members
That accidentally land there (or choose to NOT be part of Brandon's site

because of some ill-will with other members...and/or other personal
issues.)

Not really fragmented...just a slow recovery and rebuilding going on.
