A: The Dakota one is the same as the XJ/MJ 4 cyl AX-5, but it has a larger
input shaft and clutch. I think it is @ 3/4" shorter than the 4.0L one but
haven't had one to compare. (there is a Dakota for sale near me for $500
needing a head as the old one cracked. The owner was going to buy a head
from my son's parts rig but doesn't have time to fix it anymore)

Anyone know if the Dakota 2wd AX15 has the same input length as a Jeep
one? I've had no luck finding an R154 for a decent price, the Jeep AX15s
I find are all 4wd, so I'm looking at the Dakota version now. Any info
is appreciated!!!
