A: OOF! It's raining Wagoneers suddenly! (I won't be coming for it, but I'm
passing it on to FSJ lists) I'm getting a '66 tomorrow with 327 and TH400
(motor will be for sale unless I decide to put it in the M715 with the TH400
and D20. It's doubtful though.) What is the casting number on the 327-TH400
adapter ring?

1966 Jeep Wagoneer parts or project. Color is white. Originally had 327 V-8
but it had a spun bearing. I have a 350 Buick motor out of a 1968 Wagoneer
to put in it. Just need to re-drill the frame to install the motor mounts
and put the motor in. Interior is in pretty bad shape. Has a pretty big dent
in the tailgate. Has a heavy duty front bumper and grill guard. Has been set
up for a snowplow (I do not have the snow plow or controls). All glass
(except windshield) is good and the rest of the body is in good shape. The
guy I got it from said the transmission and transfer case had been rebuilt
not long before the bearing spun. Has automatic transmission with shiftable
4 wheel drive. Will need brake work. Nice Solid body. Would be a great
project or just install the motor, do the brakes and put some decent seats
in it and it would be a good driver or use it for parts. You Haul. I just
don't have time to do anything with it and have too many vehicles. I
currently have 3 cars an!
d this wagoneer and just bought a truck. The Wagoneer has to go. Email me
if interested. I have $350 into it. $350 or possible trade for car hauling
trailer or large flatbed trailer (7'x12' or larger tandem axle preffered
with a minimum capacity of 3500 pounds).
Also still have the 327 out of this. It is seized up and has been sitting
exposed for about 8 years. My dad accidently dropped it on its top after we
pulled it so the carb is crushed. I still have the adapter ring to attach
the 327 to the tranny. If anyone is interested in any parts from this engine
make me an offer.
Please only email me if you actually intend to follow through with
something. The last time I posted this 2 people said they were interested. I
told both of them where it was located, how to get there and when I would be
there and neither one bothered to show up and wouldn't respond to my emails.
So please don't waste my time, email me if you truly are interested. Thanks.
