The hotrodders have such a class -- beaters! I've been to a big
national that ran one, it was kinda fun. Some of them are junkers you
get to laugh at, but there's also the mechanically solid but ug-lee
ones that are pretty admirable, cars that have been in use since new,
maintained but never restored, crap interiors and paint but nice
brakes and solid engines, that sort of thing.

yEaH! Q-Ships !
I ran my 1950 Hudson - stuffed full of
a 392 Chrysler - stock hubcaps !
Qs' were popular at the end of the
1960s since no one running them
had to put up with the Insurance
Premiums & you could win some
cash by not opening your hood
on GrudgeNite.
You had to be smart & not run
a total Roach since you'd be
picked off - but a mundane
worn out commuter shell worked
well - Chock Full O'Muscle...........
As to Judging and the Tone
of Discussions :
having the NON-AMC ENGINED
car owners wear
Yellow Engine Profile Badges
with their names on
them seems the Sentiment.

not being banned from
the main AMC field is
as far as 'Attitude Accomodating'
the Kustom Kamp is going
to be shown.
With that said - any AMC I meet
attended - will NOT have my car
in ANY judging whatsoever -
as the card under the wiper blade
will advise as much.
Not a big deal in any sense -
just MY Statement of those
with 'Penalty Point Interests'.
