Re: clubs, meets, categories, judging

Frank,
NAMDRA makes all of the race payout, the track adds nothing. We do not
require the racers to be members of NAMDRA so the contingency money
(actually doubling the payout) is for racers that are members of NAMDRA
before eliminations start.

As far as non-AMC powered AMC race cars, at our meets they do usually get
a chance to race for money and/or a trophy. Why, because our AMC
eliminations usually take place during the day and then the track has
their usual bracket program in the evening, in which all cars allowed to
enter no matter what powers them. Plus we do allow non-AMC powered AMC
race cars to make time runs with us but just not allow them to race in
the actual AMC Eliminations. Also, usually of Friday evening we have an
AMC gamblers race at the meet, but so does the track, so those with
non-AMC powered AMC's can race in the tracks Gamblers race. So you see,
if you enter a non-AMC powered AMC, you still get a chance to race for
fun or money or a trophy at the annual AMC NATIONALS.
