It's proportional to speed. I measured the angles, they aren't exactly the same but are +/- one degree, which shouldn't cause any problems. The droning is really just over 50 mph or so. I'll have to find the TSBs or article on this! It only became a complaint as the Interstate system expanded and people started driving for longer distances at higher speeds. At least that's my theory as to why it only became a problem around 65-66. If it is a 67 TSB that kind of goes out the window (I'm pretty sure it was 65 or 66 though). Since the 67 floorpan is a minor stretch/widening of the 63-66 it could be a difference with the open driveshaft. I'll find out eventually!
