Rob,

I'm using a Coan (http://www.coanracing.com) converter in my Gremlin w/727
transmission. Stall is 3200 RPM. It's even pretty tight just tooling around
town. Be sure to tell them it's for an AMC so it comes ready to install
(without a ring gear).
