" " I have Espo springs on my 68 American and they're okay I guess but the
" " clamps that hold the leaves together rusted off after a few years. The
" " clamps are easy enough to get from a spring shop but I was pretty annoyed
" " that it happened. I can't compare them to a more expensive set or even
" " factory springs since the springs were so bad on my car that the rear axle
" " dented the exhaust.
"
" i have a similar experience, espo hd rears on my '68 american
" replacing stock that were so sagged the car had hi-lift shackles just
" to level it.
i should add - haven't checked the leaf clamps in a long time, but
after more than a few years and tens of thousands of miles i have no
complaints. i've only got a 199 under the hood though.
