The meet was disappointing as far as the turnout of AMC vendors and swap meeters and so was Indy Cylinder Heads (who sponsor the show.) There were a decent amount of attendees who asked where all the AMC stuff was. Indy had advertised that American Performance Style, Kennedy American, Brian Ambrosini & DB4 Enterprises (Don Bangs) would be there but they weren't. I knew Randy from American Performance Style wouldn't be there because of a wedding in the family and figured that was quite a distance to go for Don Bangs but was disappointed the Kennedy American & Brian Ambrosini (of AMC wheelstanding fame) weren't there. Those that were there that I know of was Bob Riesinger of Ohio who when you came in the entrance had his sharp looking lime green 2-seat AMX prominently displayed as the first car you saw when you walked in! The AMO Indiana chapter had a booth and had a nice Hornet on display. NAMDRA had several spaces with Bob Wells displaying his race Spirit and selling a lot of parts. Bob sold 5 different intake manifolds with one guy buying them all and what is funny about this is when the guy came to pick up one of the manifolds, a 4 barrel 6cyl. intake, another guy stopped by and asked about the manifold and the guy that had bought it from Bob sold it to the other guy for twice what he paid Bob for it! We really kidded Bob about this. Bob sold a bunch of other items including a 401 block, AMC models, etc. Joe Gray & son had a space also, selling some items and buying others. NAMDRA did, well, selling some of their literatures, dash plaques, club items and picking a few new members. I did decently, selling a V-8 crossmember, a new Crane cam and other items.
