re: motorola alternator snafu

thanks to all who answered my 
grief stricken post about alternators.
If some one wants to tell me what it will 
cost to get a front housing or the whole 
alternator to me and  I can take the housing
off I will probably go that route for now.
When the firewall forward resto work gets
scheduled was really when I planned to install 
the delco on a 401, so for now the motorola
will be faster to get back into the car.
