Yes, things got blown out of proportion. Hopefully most of that is behind us now and the list can get back to what it was designed for. The only thing I can add is that answering every "charge" -- imagined or real -- publicly isn't always the best way. Sometimes e-mailing the "offender" is better. That's a judgement call. We have to police ourselves to keep the list somewhat clean.
