Sorry to the spelling checker on the list if I misspelled anything, I
only
have a WEB TV and can't use the spell checker when I post directly
to the
list. Real AMC content I spent 4 hours this morning making a new
gauge
face plate for the factory gauge pod I am useing in my new
Hornet's
interior. It will have Auto meter gauges in it. "Doc"
=============================
Just got the AutoMeter Catalog in the Mail Yesterday Doc ~~!
Bought my First AutoMeter in 1970 - an 8,000 Tach for a 392
Chrysler in my 1950 HUDSON Commodore 8 Sedan.......... god I
miss that
car!........... but............. now the Kammback Eagle series50 is
being outfitted - they have some gauges in 2.5 inch and
windshield post pods.
Went on the American Racing site & found they are making rims
close to those Halibrands I wuz crazy about as a kid - on the back
of the blown Rail Dragsters - under their Vintage section.
Thinking of using the Classic II in 20 inch size
on the back with the painted 'Salt Flats' in 15 x 4 inch on the front -
for that 'Nostalgia' look.
Should be OK running 'Rubber Bands'
for tires on the back - as that FX seen on the TV ads run 20s
on all 4. Guess I should start dumpster diving early to get them
paid up soon...........
Brien.
