A: It's not so much truth or lies that are the problem. The list is not for 
personal attacks or wars (it says that when you sign up) It's for sharing 
AMC information. I'm in digest format and the last 10 issues at least were 
80% stuff that has nothing to do with the fixing of cars, sharing of ideas, 
automotive camaraderie or anything of discernable intrinistic value to 
anyone but the poster.
   Ignore the people screaming in your quiet reading room? That's a tough 
trick to do! I know I don't open my AMC-list to read the aggrievances past 
and present. As much as I like Randy personally and appreciate his 
knowledge, it was his "choice" to scream back at them (and it should be 
noted that it is unwise to have provoked him) The emotional baggage of this 
list is staggering, and in short order there will be a "New Dawn" (not the 
dishwashing liquid either) and there will be a new guard in charge of the 
postings, curtailing any further issues of this nature.
   FWIW, I will pass on any notes from Randy to the list as long as they are 
civil (All the ones I get from him are) and within the bounds of what this 
list, YOUR list, is about.

Well, I hope some of you are now happy.  A valuable voice in the AMC hobby 
community has been silenced on this list.  Why?  For speaking the truth.  He 
may have been a little abrasive in his approach but I can tell you sometimes 
this is the only way to get the attention of others.  I know some of you 
have been upset by his remarks. Some of you have been upset by mine as well. 
I find it hard to believe that this attitude continues today.  I guess that 
some of you are afraid to hear the truth,  some of you are afraid to be 
exposed, some of you do not want to know the truth and many (as expressed in 
private emails to me) are afraid to speak the truth for fear that you will 
be sanctioned as well.

It has been posted by several to ignore and not read the threads that offend 
you.  For most, that is happening, but for several, your ideas are the only 
right ones and it is ok to criticize others and call for their banishment 
from this list for expressing views that are unpopular and are contrary to 
yours.
