FIXED THANKS- re: 74 Cherokee Bucking/Cutting out Help Please

Hello,
A week or so ago I asked for help troubleshooting my
new-to-me 74 Cherokee bucking and cutting out over
30mph.   I got a bunch of great ideas for things to
try from list members.  After exhausting the cheap
stuff to try with no effect I swapped on a new
Carburetor.  Now the thing runs great.  The carb had
been rebuilt and tuned but poorly I guess.  A friend
suggested that even if the carb wasn?t the cause
replacing that 30 year old carburetor wouldn?t be a
bad idea anyway. This weekend I?m installing the
PERTRONIX unit I just bought.  I got a great deal on
it at carshopinc.com by the way (20$ less than
summit).  

I want to thank everyone who took the time to help me
troubleshoot this problem.   Your help was greatly
appreciated.
