Ok, I have a question for you folks. I ran across,
while searching a used book site, some reference
material on American Motors technical and Engineering
developments, not sure what they were published in, as
the Used Book site has none, only lists them as " out
of print". Here's one I found :
The American Motors AMX-390 V-8 engine (SAE)
by George F Leydorf
Publisher: Society of Automotive Engineers (1968)
ASIN: B0007HPXDK
I also found references to the Typhoon engine, 1967
American Motors concepts, the new aluminum diecast
engine, the 1970 Rebel Machine, and other interesting
topics relating to AMC. Did SAE publish a journal or
something that has these articles, maybe? Any way to
find out what they are about, content, etc?
Just thought it interesting to run across some old
engineering articles on AMC technical things. HOpe to
find out more about them. Well, that's my brain-burner
for tonight...
