construction for my sons 74 Javelin) next to my 71 and 72 360's and found
the only deference is that the 85 pan has the oil plug on the side, the 70's
have the oil plug on the back of the pan, size and everything ease looks the
same. So get one any where you can.

Ken, I have two 360's taken from Grand Wagoner's, they look the same as my
304 taken from my Javelin and the Owner's Manual taken from the 1985 jeep
states the V-8's use 3.8 qts plus 1 for the oil filter, also states 4.8 qts
for the six-cylinder plus 1 for the oil filter. Looks like the 6 is larger
not the V-8.

4.0 pans are deeper than 232/258 pans, by about an inch. dunno about
v8s.
