It needs a "BOX" where you can take your Article that you 'Select

learning curve .
The article about how to submit says: "I suggest you save your article
on your computer first. Then highlight the entire article (CTRL-A
usually does this, or go to the "edit" menu and click on "select all")
and copy it (CTRL-C, or edit menu and "copy"). Now switch over to the
Tiki editor and paste the article into the Tiki editor (CTRL-V, or edit
menu and "paste"). Now you're ready to add any formatting."
I have a few nice Tid Bitts , one being the History behind the Gremlin
'Fun in the Sun' RagTop sliding Sunroof - sent to me by a Company who
Imported their later offerings.............. BUT.................. I'm
not learning how to do the entry
simply............"Because"...................... ........ and that
explains it in very important Terms simply.
Your "." key seems to get stuck? Anyway, the instructions on how to do
formatting are optional. It's nice if a submitter formats the text, but
there's no need to; it can be done later by another person.
Currently - it is for 'Expert Class' Journalists - used to the prior
construct in such and such program scheduled for that and other
Importation into this - that way - read this paragraph and follow
along until and then ......... "Nuhh-Uhh"...... and 'Later-Much'.
Here's a suggestion: You want to contribute? Put your text and pictures
in an email and send it to Frank, Matt, or me. Plain text, HTML, or
RTF, no problem. Want to type it in your publishing program? I can
process Word, StarOffice/OpenOffice, LaTeX, Pages, RagTime documents,
HTML, PDF, you name it. Just drop it off. Can't get any easier than
that.
The Amcyclopedia has two problems: It lacks a good design, and it runs
on an old machine. The latter will soon be taken care of. The former
will have to be postponed until
a) someone with design skills helps out, or
b) someone is paid by someone else to do it. Don't hold your breath.
