Torque wrenches I found my papers for mine !

I found the instructions for my Craftsman Micro Adjusting Torque Control
Wrench.
The book says the wrench actually thinks for itself ! Dunno how but that's
what it says.
It's a model 44443. On page five it states under use and care and I quote "
When not in
use, set the wrench to the lowest torque setting (10 Ft-Lbs) marked on the
barrel."
I can't find anything in the manual that talks about warranty but for some
reason I remember
that it is not a lifetime warranty.

Now about Sears warranties. I used to work as a carpenter, and we went
through tapes measures
very regularly. I bought a Craftsman tape and when it broke they would
replace it, so I think they
have a great customer service that way. I remember a saleslady once bitched
at me about it but she
did give me a new one. The only one they would not replace got run over by a
Caterpiller.

AMC content, took the drivers seat out today and pulled the brake pedal in
anticipation of installing
the pedals for the clutch and brake steup. Pulled the center console and
found five wires to the nuetral
safety switch and two wires to the courtesy lamp. One wire to the neutral
switch was not being used.
I'm wondering why 4 wires to the neutral switch, it's a 70 Javelin, anyone
got any ideas? Measured the
bell housing and the 5 speed manual, looks like the T5 shifter will end up
in the same spot as the shifter
for the automatic. I got the driveshaft from the Mustang too, thinking it
may work, gotta get that measured
too. Hoping to be able to use a u-joint that fits the Mustang yoke and the
AMC 20 yoke. Mustang's driveshaft
is larger in diameter, can't remember but I think the drag guys want a small
diameter shaft for some reason, I
like the big diameter drive shaft and beefier u-joints.

Anybody know if the AMC pressure plates from around the 69, 70, 71 era had
the same bolt pattern as the
Chevys did? The flywheel I have has 6 threaded holes for the pressure
plate, I think it's a 10-1/2" clutch disc
and pressure plate. I need to find a pressure plate that mates to the
flywheel and is a diaphragm style to work
with the bell-housing/throw-out bearing/fork/ etc. from the 79 304 SR-4
transmission setup. What did you
guys that have swapped in T5s do?

Rest easy people,

Armand
