Did you?

Silence is golden and GM's '89 [all-wheel-drive] Pontiac influenced by AMC's
'86 [all-but-forgotten] Jeep was green, so illustrating my point with a
white monocab minivan was a big bad --- and obviously was the wrong GM/AMC
concept.

was the car that faithfully followed AMC's final "baby Jeep" concept.

That error corrected (errors of omission from AMC and Jeep books await
action by those you PAY to be your AMC and Jeep experts), there's only
enough time today for a couple citations (of the "You Checky" not of the
"You Chevy" persuasion) and links.

3/03 CC is trying to be independent [on Primedia's Chevfordpar Way!]: An old
AMX, an AMX burnout, an online AMC forum, a bananarama Javelin and a
glad/bad white AMX 401 (with original-look wheels!) plus a Barracuda and an
LS Lark. Who knew? There were no AMCs at Bob's in Burbank, so CC might
even stop by Boy's [where in LA, I forgot] tonight for photos.

For those who miss distinctive and attractive American cars designed and
assembled as well as those marketed by import-name firms, keep reading.

For those who miss seeing American Motors cars in the Levi's "Spell" ad,
keep your pants, uh, shirts (or what's legislated) on, keep watching.

Two network TV series and two theater-release movies have what you may want
to see.

AMCs explode on "Point Pleasant," cliff-dive on "Perfect Savages," stalk in
a summer 2005 film [I can't find the note to type the name of which; all I
can remember is that the AMC will be a 1967-1970 Rambler Rebel 4-door sedan]
and, depending on how much of which AMC(s) [you can take your pick from Met,
Pacer or Gremlin] ends up on a floor [which today may be a computer], in a
film you can now preview.

Chris and Tom, I haven't forgot your e-mails for wagon and turbo power; I
have four more days away this month (and this weekend is only in NYC) so I
should get back on track with some answers and an action as early as next
week.
