I never intended to suggest that the AMC T-5 would be good choice behind a V8 I was simply stating that I didn't see why the six cylinder linkage Joe is trying to sell wouldn't work on a V8 car since my 4.0 setup uses the same V8 bellhousing as a V8 car would.
Anyone know what Greyhound charges to ship fenders? There are some on Ebay I may try to get.
