By the way, if anyone is interested, a "kemp" was a term used for '50's hot rod. There used to be a club. Kustom Kemps of America, that had their own magazine. I'm not sure if thc club still exists. Guess I'm showing my age here. regards, Lynn Peterson, president Kustom Kemps 6122 SW 36th Ave Portland, Or. 97221 (503) 246-7913 ===================== I noticed this Kemp thing - still have my Street is Neat! patches from '71 - first year that Rod&Custom began their Street Rod Nationals. Those guys were mostly all Kemp - crafted one up for a particular Rally & gave a day by day of the Drama. It never occurred to me that the Kemp Assoc. would pass from the Registry as this is truly American Art with traceable lineage. I'll look thru my Rod&Custom Quarterlies on the Kemp Kamp. Yeah...... age......... I'll be more comfortable with it once they release a cure for the 'Event' outside of the current standard - but imagine the effect on Real Estate! Brien.
