The search, she may be over (a Little Car update)

Ya'll,
So I may have finally found my upper radiator hose, though Kennedy
American. This after having gone through every other vendor in the book
(what book? Why the AMCRC Parts Source and Club Handbook, of course) over
the last two weeks, and nagging in just about every on-line venue (as
ya'll know). It's on the way as we speak, or at least I presume as much.
I've also found a vendor for those pesky tower clamps for said hose,
though he's an, er, Ford specialist. Nevertheless, he'll even (back)
date code 'em for me, which well, why not?
Also on the list, a pair of bumpers for Little Car are currently sitting
in San Francisco, waiting for the schedule to jibe between me and the
person who's watching 'em for me. This will mean bumpers with less
bumps, which is always a good thing in my book.
Finally, Little Car got her Spring cleaning (I don't care what
Punxsutawney Phil says: it's Spring here!), which included a deep, deep
cleaning of the ol' engine block. I suspect some of the grime I found
is, oh, 40 years old.
Still on the ol' list is the windshield washer system, which is about 50%
done. Bag is installed, valve is installed -- I just need to put the
hole through the hood (waiting on a better sprayer) and the foot pedal in
the interior (waiting on a better idea of location, though I may just go
for it anyway). Anyone have a spare washer pump pedal pad (say that
three times fast) sitting around, or know anyone who's got one to sell?
Other than that, all is well!
Cheers,
Gwen Smith
