" Four way flashers were first required in some states in 66, though federal regs may be 67. There is an underdash switch in the 66 TSM, and it can be retrofitted in any 58-66 Rambler. These still show up at some AMC swap meets -- a big chrome knob and bezel with a flasher and some wiring attached.
my first rambler, a '66 ex-at&t fleet car, had that flasher. i always
thought the used-car dealer added it, as there's a state law here...
