A: Damn spammers are using a metacrawler to harvest email addresses. That's 
why I have a different email address for AMC-list. If I reply to spammers, I 
often use my old Webtv address (I have it listed in my popmail still, even 
though I don't get mail there anymore. It comes up as my returnmail on the 
top line if I so choose to set it)

I've had this address for about a year and until I started using it for the
AMC list last week I never got any spam. It's already showing up. So it 
would
appear that someone somewhere, as has been suspected, is getting spammable
addresses off the list.
