And the implication is that "chinese made" does not necessarily
mean "crap".  If often does, of course. To me it seems like China,
industrially, is in a similar spot to Japan in the early 1960's.
Remember when "made in japan" meant CRAP? I do! Now, Sony etc
means high quality.

Ayup! And everything else. Simply a side effect of capitalism, the
drive to maxmize profit without limit or regard for anything else.
It works two (or more) ways at once... :-)
