I doubt it would make much difference either weight wise, but every little bit counts on a drag car. Biggest gain would probably be found on the earlier four cylinder solid rotors [if they exist?, did we ever actually figure that out?].
I remember the ones I saw where vented and I think it was an Audi powered car, I remember thinking, How Cute, they look like real disc brakes, only smaller!
