" All AMCs used Kelsey Hayes pin type brakes from 71-76, even Hornets. Later models used Bendix (Ford used a Bendix type) sliding calipers. 82-83 used a pin type GM caliper, but different than the KH. KH uses pins to hold the pads in, the GM type slides on pins. 

the big cars started switching to bendix in '74, and the 'big bendix'
was used across the board '75-6 according to napa.
