Yes you should use Rambler to be correct!
I call mine an American, just becaues if I say I have a 69 Rambler to people, they always say, what model? It is much easier to just call it an American! Parts stores? I usually just say it is a 68 if I know the part is the same for both years.
Still I like the idea of owning the last model car to be a Rambler, at least here in the states.
