I doubt it has these things, but... 1. Electric wipers. Get the motor, linkage (including the pivots) and especially the switch. Switch requires removing the gauge cluster. The wiper wiring harness is totally stand-alone, so may as well pull it. 2. AC. Don't need a thing underhood. Disconnect the hoses and pull the evaporator housing though. Pull the dash vents first. Even if you skip the housing pull the vents -- even if the vanes are broken on some of them. That vent housing is a key element, as Tom Jennings found out when trying to rig his without them (though I'm sure it could possibly be done with a LOT of effort... as I recall it was more effort than Tom wanted to put into his beater though). Without the dash vents there is no reason to pull the evaporator housing. It's really to much work to try to do anything without the vents and connecting duct. But you pull the vents, then the duct should literally fall out. I'd cut the hoses and leave the fittings attached. They can be reused by a competent hose fabricator. If nothing else the fab will know what they need to make new hoses. the only thing to consider under the hood would be the AC compressor bracket. Everything else is available aftermarket and the compr! essor really isn't worth messing with unless someone is doing a complete restoration. Then it can be used as a core to get a rebuilt one, but I don't think the builders allow much for a big compressor like that anymore. 3. By all means if there is an AM/FM radio, no matter what condition! They were available in 64 (first year), but like hens teeth. Few were purchased because FM was so new only large cities even had FM stations. Well, I can't think of anything that hasn't already been mentioned. Maybe the side trim, but only if it's in good condition. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) -------------- Original message ---------------------- > > The 64 Classic 4 dr. 660 is still in the local yard. > > I got the bumpers today for a lister and a few other > > parts.
