Edelbrock Shorty Headers, Non Smog Equipped.

The Edelbrock non smog Shorty Headers are being shipped now I am told. 
The painted [e-tec coating]ones are the first being shipped.  I was 
informed my order of 10 sets will be delivered as 3 sets & 7 on B.O.  
Sure am glad my supplier gave me a heads up on B.O. The Ceramic coated 
version is said to be coming in about 2 weeks.

My supplier did not have the new price for the Non Smog units. I would 
think it would be less than w/tubes, but who knows. I expect to have my 
stock sometime late next week.

YIPPEEE!!!! Another sorely needed AMC part. Direct bolt on replacement 
for Free Flow manifolds. Glad the part is here. I still do not 
understand the Coporate reasoning behind these headers.The Non Smog 
units are easier to build, and can be sold as ''off road'' while the 
testing to C.A.F.E. Certify the smog jobs for 50 states is going thru 
certification. It seems Edelbrock could have been reaping profits a lot 
sooner with better approach. However in light of all their educated 
employees, I am sure there was/is a reason, that I don't understand , 
but which makes business sense to them. Again, Glad the part is now 
available.

Hum.... now what we need is a Head pipe to fit these up to Trendsetter 
side pipes. And Then...........
