A: I've yet to find one that didn't respond to the whack of my 5 lb hammer
along the front face, near the croner where the shoes ride, but not quite.
(some responded by flying apart due to weakness tho)

The rear brake drum seems to be rusted solid on my son's 78 Matador. Any
tips
for breaking this loose? I seem to remember this being discussed before,
but
I couldn't find anything when I tried to search for it.
So far I have backed off the brake shoes, and the drum seems to rotate
freely.
However, when I try to pull it off of the hub there is no movement at all.
I
verified that the three small screws have already been removed. I sprayed
it
with some PB Blaster and am letting it soak overnight. I was going to check
at the local parts stores to see if I could borrow/rent a drum puller.
Thanks,
Todd
