Fomoco question

The guy painting my American (good quality and price
but pokey) is wanting to put a big block in his
pick-em-up. I suggested a 460 combo as he wants to
tow. The big weakness with this engine that I know of
is overheating and cracking exhaust manifolds. Anyone
have any experience with them. I had a Linc some time
ago but only had probs with the points burning....Russ
