Intake and exhaust manifold gasket reqt

The 258 engine is finally in the bay of my 83 SX/4
(only took about 3 hours of wiggling, pulling,
pushing, cursing, etc) and it's time to install the
accessories.  The rebuild gasket kit has an intake and
exhaust manifold gasket but when I removed them there
was only an exhaust gasket.  The TSM is not clear,
showing a gasket in the illustration but not
mentioning it in the installation steps.  What is the
consensus on this.  Thanks.
