68 to 69 guage speedo conversion question

Has anyone installed the 69 speedo/tach gauge cluster in a 68 AMX.   I
prefer the larger tach and would like to convert it and install a clock
where the 68 tach currently is.  The clock is easy to replace and if it does
not require major rewiring I will install the 69 speedo/tach combo over the
stock 68 version.
