One handed starter replacement with headers......

Since this has been mentioned recently, it reminds me of the time when we
could not be too picky about header availability and we used some headers on
V8 Americans that would not allow the starter to go into place with the
headers installed, would not go in in conjunction with the headers unbolted,
and could only be installed with the starter taken apart and put in place in
three basic pieces, drive snout first, then main case with field coils, then
end plate, pretty much done with the finger tips of one hand.
..............sooooo,   Thank goodness for the better routed pipes that we
have today.    There was a time that I could change a starter out in that
manner without loosening the pipes in fifteen minutes and it was something
to be proud of to any one who was watching.
