a 64 grill on a 65 american

I have a 65 440 in the body shop right now. The front
fender would not fit right as the grill opening was
off a tad, two of the middle bolts were off about 1/4
inch and the hood bumper is in a different spot. The
grill opening seemed to just off enough that the lines
would not be right. The grill would bolt in but I
think it would take some tweeking around of screws and
bolts. I will know for sure when I start reassembling
things but it just didn't look right. The bumpers and
headlight surrounds will switch back and forth as I
have 68 bumpers on my 65, 65 bumpers on my 64 and 64
headlight surrounds on my 65.......Russ
