{FORGED?} To Bid Or Not To Bid, There Will Always Be Another One

I have only been buying from eBay for 2 years now. The first year was AMC models and AMC model parts. but since getting the new Hornet a year ago I have bought some parts from eBay and some parts from the members here. Maybe I have been just lucky so far but have not been shafted by anyone. After installing bucket seats in my orange Hornet I was looking for the inner seat belts. These have the plastic sheath on them to hold em up to make buckling up easier. A friend found a double auction on eBay for 2 NOS ones. I made an what I concidered an outrageious bid of 75$ a piece for them and lost out to 2 seperate people. I really needed the parts. I contacted a guy I bought a complete set of 77 Hornet AMX flairs from on eBay and he sold me 2 used ones in almost mint condition for 25$ includeing shipping. I bought the outer seat belts from his brother for 25$ plus shipping. My outer ones were faded and frayed. So you will always find that elusive part if you look for it and in my !
 case for a lot less than I was willing to pay for it. Set your max bid and stick to it.
