I would suggest you get away from the big chain stores and find a local auto parts store where people know how to flip a page in a paper parts book and have the brains to cross reference a part instead of a nitwit that says it is not available simply because it is not listed on a computer screen. Where are you in N.J.? I am in Yonkers N.Y. right outside of N.Y. City and have no problem getting parts for my two 74 Hornet's. Contact me off list and i'll see about helping out if I can.
