A: The problem isn't getting the motor in, or hanging the axle. Biggest trouble is aligning the axle so the driveshaft works well. One poor soul built one, tromped on the gas and the driveshaft's improper angle launched it through the motor's oilpan, bringing everything to a sudden halt (and me w/o my camera!) A couple budget V-8 swaps have been done. They simply modify the original crossmember for V-8 engine mounts then make new brackets to hang the axle off the body or crossmember. It isn't difficult to make new front axle mounts if you have some fabrication skills.
