Re: Matador "Machine" color

It gets a bit old to see everything redone in "resale red."

The original silver/black vinyl top color scheme would be much more
interesting due to how few cars like that are seen. Plus, due to the rarity
of the car keeping its stock appearance adds to the perceived value and
interest. Of course this is merely my opinion.

I once swore up and down that I'd never have a red vehicle. Now I have
three--the Spirit, the Javelin, and my S10. The Spirit will be repainted
Sebring Red because I didn't want to go through the trouble of changing it
to white (which I'd prefer). However, I'm still undecided whether to paint
the Javelin in its original Trans Am (orange) Red, or paint it either white
or blue. The thing about all three of these red vehicles is that they all
sort of "fell" into my lap--I wasn't actively seeking any of them. It just
happens that they were all incidentally red.

rather see it silver with a'YUCK'vinyl rot breeder top'.I think she looks
sharp as hell in red course i'm prob partial to the color since my 73
Gremlin will be Coka Cola red :P Bart M.
