When Brad decided to build the car, he planned on keeping it, and thus decided Red was the color for him. It was only in the last couple years after the paint was done that he has lost interest. I agree that the car would be worth more as a collector piece if it were the original color and vinyl roof, but it was his decision to make and he made it. It will be VERY interesting to see how this plays out. I'll tell you this much, if I wasn't needing to build a house in the next couple years (wife SAYS), I'd sell off a few of the heaps I have laying around to buy this car. But that's just me. I want an SS one day too. Yes that is it but why he changed the paint scheme, I'll never know. Especially if he was going after the "only one on the planet" claim. I think it looked a lot better silver than the current color...even if he had to choose a silver that wasn't exact but close. Also..didn't the car have a black vinyl roof to start with?
