Re: Wrecking Yard pix

Wow! A true Briarcliff!

Someone needs to save that car! The windshield/roof damage is repairable,
provided the rest of the body isn't shot. If nothing else, the
Briarcliff-specific stuff needs to be saved. These cars are entirely too
rare *not* to try to save. I think this might be the second photo of an
actual Briarcliff I've ever seen outside of the promotional literature.

I'd love to have it, but my plate is overflowing already and I have no way
to get it home...

Overall, this place looks like an AMC lover's dream...

Yes, it is a Briarcliff. It is all there and had the windshield broken
in the last hurricane. If I had had a trailer with me it might have
followed me home. My wife even got into the swing of things and took all
the pics. She said we could have found room in the garage for it. I
found it through someone on the AMCForum. It is called Leons and they
have about 6000 cars there. Still lots of good useable parts and they
have a comuter record of where every car is and what it has left on it.
He was able to give me a map and directions to the exact car that still
had the power rear window motor in it. Country boy but he was nice as he
took my money. If you go, plan to spend the day.
