I suppose you got the message that this won't work by now. There isan't really any "computer crap" to deal with. Just pull the computer wiring harness with everything attached and transplant in any vehicle you can put the engine in. All the wiring between the engine and computer stays in place, no messing with it required (you need the relay center as well). The bulkhead (firewall) connector just has things like gauge inputs going to the computer. No much to do with those but splice into the original harness. I'm one of the first guys to put a 4.0L in an early Rambler (a 63), and had no problems.
