That is where you send your Pacer Friend.
At worst - he would need to change the spring
pads to match the spacing of the Pacers.
At total - say he payed the worst case of $50.00
to $150.00 for a good rear diff. - and a set of
spring pad mounts ......... he'd still be ahead
of his 'mechanics' offering of 'Brilliance' .....

Howdy:
A friend of mine caught the AMC bug from me and just
bought a '75 Pacer DL with auto tranny. It has a
whine in the differential, and his mechanic says it
will cost about $1100 to rebuilt! He was shocked and
sad that his new toy needed so much money put into
it
right up front, so I told him to just stick in a used
one. He is in South Bend, IN, and I do not know the
local parts yards that have AMCs in them.
