A: Someone want to help this young lady out? Who knows of a good Jeep
mechanic near Pittsburgh? The Eagle is essentially and '81 FSJ 6 cyl
drivetrain stuffed into a Hornet wagon, so it's really not that hard to fix
them. Celena has had a trans shop botch her tranny twice before. If I were
still unemployed, I would be able to help her more, but I'm under the gun
here with my own projects and a Nov 1st deadline.

  Here is the situation, I have been skrewed over royally, by 2
mechanics who were "friends", and 1 shop...the situation is very
simple, I need a mechanic who is knows AMC Eagles, so I am here.  I
have lost my a**(about $2500), but do not want to give up the car, as
it is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, what needs attended to is minor, but we
all know with Eagles, no one wants to work on them, and all of the
young mechanics do not understand them.  My dad was one of the best
tranny men, and mechanics, and due to brain atrophy and seizure
disorder, we cannot work on the car together anymore, and I am fairly
petite, so I cannot do everything myself.  I am willing to travel
from Pittsburgh, provided it is not too far (so I can get there or
have her towed if need be), I WILL pay, I need a reliable HONEST
mechanic who KNOWS Eagles, my dad is just too far gone to help, and
now it is to the point where he cannot even do simple tasks with me
because he forgets in the middle and spaces out---this is a serious
inquiry, it's probably a weekend project. Thanks guys I appreciate
it!!!  I just wanna take her to someone and get her back to where she
was before the mechanics skrewed her up!!!  She is not on the road
now, but can jump her, or tow to location----tranny just rebuilt...so
