way cool engine. i remember when it was introed, reading that the
engineers could easily have found 300+ hp but only at the expense of
trucky torque.
i always thought this should've powered the '49-pastiche truck which
is built on the same s-10 chassis this normally powers, and the
'53-pastiche vette that appeared briefly then vanished. both vehicles
paid homage were powered by sixes.
i'm beginning to wonder what it'd be like in a cobra kit car, or an
xke, an ocelot... a '68 nova, a '66 van...
