probably not, if the ecm also wants to control the tranny.

" Oh, by the way, I scored a whole bunch of good stuff for my 4.0L Rambler at Carlisle last Friday! Bolt on and plug in ACCEL ign coil. Set of Splitfire plug wires $15. New set of wheels, Chevy style Silver rallys 2 15X8" 2 15X7" with No logo police caps. New 16" 2760 CFM Electric fan , The one made in Texas, not the Chinese import. Plus a whole little bag of goodies that I desperately needed, but didn't want to mail order. 

i'll be very interested in how those wheels fit.  what tires are you
planning to run?
