carb, was made on October 6 1972 or November 6, 1972
(depending on whether you ignore the I in the date
sequence).  It was made for a 1973 model car with an R
code (according to the Motorcraft codes, which I don't
know) engine and an "A" transmission."



Thanks Joe,

Sounds like that is the original carb for my Hornet,
as it's a November '72 build. The car is currently 
running another Holley 2v. I guess I'll hang on to
the Motorcraft. :)
