  You might want to also upgrade the alternator to a 140 AMP powermaster application for AMC's or modify a delco to fit.  I upgraded my AMX charging system with the powermaster alternator, bigger gauge battery cables and a Sears "SUV/truck" battery with 900CCA, it was a tight fit but just fit the factory tray. I use a trickle charger on the battery when the car is in storage.
